I’ve got to admit, I never thought I would be someone who would get personalized concierge health care – until I met Dr. Andy and was introduced to Personalized HealthCare. It all started last year when we had our second baby and United Healthcare insisted on raising my monthly premiums AGAIN for the 4th consecutive time (in addition to the added premium to add the baby). In a short time, my monthly premiums went from just $384/month to a whopping $720/month. Keep in mind, this is just the premium – I still have copays, deductibles, and all of that other fun stuff to pay each and every time myself or anyone else in my family goes to the doctor. There were a few months where my daughter was sick and I was paying a $35 co-pay each time we took her to the doctor and we were going 2, 3 and sometimes even 4 times a week to the office – waiting at times 2 hours past our scheduled “appointment” to see the doctor. You can see that this all added up pretty quickly and I was quickly being sucked into the black hole known as the United States health care system. Something had to change – and quickly. With a new baby (which we had no coverage for and had to pay for in cash), medical expenses were approaching an unruly number and I knew I had to research other options. Unfortunately, all of the major health care providers seemed to offer equally terrible policies at equally expensive premiums. Then, a friend told me about Dr. Andy. “Personalized HealthCare”, they call it, huh? Wow, that’s got to be expensive, right? Not necessarily. Now, when we need something – we call our Doctor on his cell phone and he either answers the phone or we leave a message and he calls us back promptly. He comes to our house to perform check-ups, vaccinations for the kids, and anything else that you have ever needed to “go to the doctor” for. Except he comes to you. And he’s on time. And he doesn’t rush you out of the office because he’s already 2 hours late for his next appointment like most doctors do.

And here’s the kicker. He’s affordable, too. Check out his website if you’re in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral/Naples metro areas to see what your rates would be – as they vary depending on your location and if you have kids, etc. But I think you’ll be surprised. I was able to lower my health insurance premium to an “emergency only” high deductible plan and the savings is greater than what I pay for his fee each quarter. It may not be “right” for you, but it was for us and probably is for many of you as well. I highly recommend you at least talk to him if you have any questions about his services.

Is this a sales pitch? You bet it is. I wouldn’t recommend a doctor unless I was 100% satisfied. Do I get anything if you sign up as a patient? Nope, I sure don’t.
