Ok, so call me slow. I haven’t had a blog until now. I also haven’t been on MySpace until very recently. I mean, I created my account way back in the day and just never did anything with it. Then one day, for whatever reason, I ended up back on MySpace and decided to really give it a chance. Being a guy that’s immersed in computers and technology day in and day out, I honestly thought that MySpace would just be a passing fad. Then the Google buyout happened. That’s when I knew it would be for real. So I checked it out. Pretty cool, created my profile, gave it a neat look (South Florida – palm trees, of course!), added some photos and thought, hey this is neat, but what good is it? Then came the emails. Friends of mine from high school and college “found” me and requested to be my friend again. How cool. Catching up on old times, seeing what everyone is up to. This is all pretty neat stuff. But what does it have to do with my life TODAY? One word. Networking. The possibilities are endless on MySpace. No matter what you do, I guarantee you that there is a group on MySpace for it. Use it! I know I am. And hey, you just might meet someone pretty cool in the process. After all these years, I’m now a believer.
